OUr elegant hand poured real USA bayberry tapers are approximately 10 inches tall and burn for approximately 10 hours with minimal dripping. The pair come boxed in our all American made, recyclable gift box tied and labeled with our compostable packaging. Each pair of our real USA bayberry tapers come with the tradional  New England verse, "Bayberry candles burned to the socket, bring health to the home and wealth to the pocket." 
 
Bayberry was is delicate, rare amd from the waxy berries of the wax myrtle plant. Our USA bayberry wax is refined in Oregon. It was originally used by the Colonials. Being a scare and time consuming task to collect, refine and make, bayberry wax candles were typically only burned for winter celebrations.  Bayberry is very brittle and melts easily. Our real USA bayberry tapers are mixed with our 100% pure USA beeswax to keep from breaking and melting too quickly.
